Dr. Zack Wells is from Prattville, AL. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Auburn University and attended the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine for his DVM training. He completed a rotating internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Charlotte, NC, followed by a one-year surgical internship at MissionVet Specialty & Emergency in San Antonio, TX. After his years of internship, Dr. Wells started practicing emergency medicine in San Antonio, and he moved to Fort Collins, CO to continue in specialty and emergency medicine. Dr. Wells’ s professional interests include surgery, anesthesia, pain management, and emergency medicine.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Wells spends his time staying active, cooking, and making things. He enjoys hiking and running, making knives and woodworking, and most anything that keeps him moving outside. He lives with his wife, Dr. Natalie Sodaro, two dogs named Hank and Swagg, and a ball python named Glenn.
