Originally from upstate New York, Amanda moved to Colorado in 2010 to be closer to the mountains. Amanda began her veterinary career at a young age and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2017. She has worked in small animal medicine, research, emergency/critical care and has a special fondness for emergency and neonatal care. Amanda enjoys furthering her education and mentoring fellow technicians, sharing her experience to help grow their skills and raise the standard of care for our furry friends.
Amanda loves working on DIY projects with her husband, including house remodeling and restoring classic cars. She also enjoys board games, reading, kayaking and hiking. Amanda and her husband are licensed foster parents and have a special connection to at risk teens that need a helping hand entering adulthood. She shares her home with 3 dogs, 3 cats, a turtle, and varying numbers of foster kittens.
