Although no breeder wants there to be something gone amiss in a breeding program, occasionally there are issues.  When it comes to assessing fertility, assisting with dealing with fertility issues or figuring out the complex reproductive system, Advanced Animal Care has all the necessary equipment and expertise! There are quite a few treatments available for these diseases so don’t give up on an important piece of your breeding program without consulting with us first. 

Common Fertility issues in the bitch: 

Cystic Endometrial Hyperplasia (CEH)- causes uterine inflammation and disease resulting in infertility and subsequent possible pyometra

Pyometra –Radiograph of a Pyometra a common problem that can be treated medically! Most of the time veterinarians recommend spaying bitches that experience this disease but there are very successful medical management treatments that can return these bitches to fertility.  Please call us before making an emergency decision on spaying a valuable breeding bitch!

Fetal Resorption/Early Pregnancy Loss – Let us help you figure this out and stop the loss of a litter!
