Claire is a 2-year and 3-month-old Golden Retriever that came to us one month ago all of the way from Pinedale, Wyoming. Claire is a very young, active girl whose favorite activity is hunting with her Dad. When Dad saw that Claire was rapidly changing from a healthy, happy, active dog to a painful, slow and debilitated version of herself, he sought out our team of doctors for help. She came to our AACC family with concerns of her hind limbs being extremely weak, which was limiting her from her favorite thing in the world, hunting! Dr. Steyn and Dr. Jobe diagnosed her with bilateral ACL tears during her initial consultation. After discussing the best options, we decided to do bilateral TPLO surgeries to repair the knees at the same time and get her fully recovered more quickly. Please stay tuned with Claire’s success story to see what happens next with her surgery!
